The Chilean mezzo-soprano, Ana Isabel Navarro Molina, has participated in various musical projects, among which are the Baroque Music Workshop "Hacia los Caminos del Barroco" (Towards the Paths of the Baroque), sponsored by the French Embassy and the Les Arts Florissants Group of France. She is a member of the Solistas Barrocos de Chile group (Director: Ricardo González Marinov). She has participated as a soloist in concerts at the Teatro Municipal de Santiago and in the Semanas Musicales de Frutillar, as well as in cantatas and other projects. She recently (as of April 2008) participated in the contemporary music project "Música de la Ciudad y Poesía del Puerto", in the interpretation and recording of the work Luminarias by composer Christian Pérez B.
Ana Navarro is currently (as of April 2008) a member of the Coro de Madrigalistas of the Universidad de Santiago de Chile and the Coro del Instituto de Música de Santiago. |
