The Spanish soprano, Haizea Muñoz Diez, he began musical studies on her accordion. She graduated in Law in 2003. In 2007 she finished his singing studies at the Centro Superior de Música del País Vasco, Musikene, with the mezzo-soprano Maite Arruabarrena, the soprano Ana María Sánchez and together with the repertor Alejandro Zabala. She attended performamnce improvement courses with Ana Luisa Chova, Raquel Andueza, Bonaldo Giagiotti, Montserrat Caballé, among others.
In 2003 Haizea Muñoz participated in the premiere of the opera El Acomodador by Javier Jacinto. She has participated in the Quincena Musical, offering several recitals in the years 2004, 2005 and 2008; In 2005 she took part in the opera Madama Butterfly by Puccini, and in 2007 she sang Carols by Benjamin Britten. In 2009 she performed Haydn's Creation in the Quincena de San Sebastián and in the Euskalduna, under the direction of Andrés Orozco Estrada and Antoni Ros Marbá respectively. This same year he plays Dido in Dido & Aeneas by Purcell. She has played Annina in La Traviata and Giovanna in Verdi's opera Rigoletto.
Haizea Muñoz has participated as soloist in different cycles of early music and organ, in Ordizia, Azkoitia, Arrasate, Zenarruza, Bakio, Lekeitio, Toulouse, Úbeda, Ataun, offering Alessandro Scarlatti programs such as the Misa Stella or the Stabat Mater, Felix Mendelssohn, George Frideric Handel, J.S. Bach, Antonio Vivaldi, Mass in B minor (BWV 232) by J.S. Bach, as well as the opera Dido and Aeneas in the Rioja Forum (Logroño) or in 2006 in the Euskalduna, accompanied by the organist Esteban Landart and in 2007 at the Auditorio Nacional performing Markus-Passion by Reinhard Keiser. In 2010 she performed in Vida breve by Falla, in the role of Carmela, under the direction of Víctor Pablo Pérez. In 2011 she participated as a soloist in the monographic concert dedicated to Guridi at the Quincena de San Sebastián. She currently lives in Donostia-San Sebastián, Spain. |
