Natascha Morsink (Mezzo-soprano)

Born: The Hague, the Netherlands

The Dutch mezzo-soprano and singing teacher/coach, Natscha A. Morsink, studied at Twickel College in Hengelo, Overijssel, the Netherlands. aShe studied solo singing at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague; English Language and Literature. at Universiteit Utrecht.

Natascha Morsink is a versatile singer and is constantly looking for variety and combination of musical styles, shapes and collaboration with other disciplines. Her passion for singing and working with the voice is reflected in the repertoire she sings. She feels equally at home in early music and modern contemporary repertoire as Romantic repertoire. she performs as soloist in oratoratia and J.S. Bach's cantatas in (modern) music theater (and opera), but also in small chamber music. Since 2009, she forms with the Mexican guitarist Santiago Lascurain Duo Morsink/Lascurain. Since 2012, she works together with the German soprano Christina Völtl and the English pianist Andrew Clark form TreSonanz; trio for soprano, mezzo-soprano and versatile pianist. They were already four successful shows "La Bonne Cuisine" (2012), to rapidly about the vocal Roadmap (2013), "Time Stands Still" (2014) and "Schetsen voor Vermeer" (2015-2016). The end of 2015 they released their first album "One Night" with duets by Rehnqvist Dvorak, Clark and songs of British and Luciano Berio, among others.

Besides singing as a soloist, Natascha Morsink has a great affinity with singing in professional ensembles and (chamber) choirs. She performs regularly with Cappella Amsterdam (Director: Daniel Reuss), PA'dam (Director: Maria van Nieukerken), Laurens Collegium Rotterdam and Rotterdam Symphony Chorus (Director: Wiecher Mandemaker).

Natascha Since 2011-2013, Natascha Morsink has been a lecturer at the de Meerjarige Dirigenten Opleiding (Permanent Conductors Programme) in Utrecht and The Hague. She has an extensive teaching practice at home. She gives weekly group singing lessons, private lessons to amateurs and professionals, and workshops / vocalisation / interpretation classes in-house or commissioned. She is working on voice and tone with stimulation based the Lichtenberg method among others. In The Hague, she founded in 2007 Podiumkunsten Emmakade (Foundation Performing Emmakade), which organizes monthly concerts in The Hague. Natascha provides the programming of the concert.
