The Belarusian conductor, music educator, opera singer and tuba player, Andrey Morozov, obtained his Bachelor of Music degree in Oarchestra Conducting and Tuba Playing from the State Music College of Belarus, Vitebsk (1981-1985), where he also studied Theory and Harmony of Music and Piano, Solfeggio; his Master of Arts degree in Tuba Playing and Orchestra Conducting from the Belarusian State Academy of Music: Orchestra Department (1988-1993); his Master of Arts degree in Opera Singing from the Belarusian State Academy of Music (Class of 1999); and FLCM in Performance and Fellowships Diploma in Classical Singing from London College of Music (Class of 2020). His Awards include: 3rd Place Winner at International Opera Competition «Citta di Alcamo» (Vocal Baritone), Sicilia, Italy (2000); Diploma at International Festival (Vocal Baritone) Pyongyang, North Korea (2007); Laureate III Degree Diploma (Choir Conductor) at Rovdo International Choir Competition Minsk, Belarus (2021).
Andrey Morozov was Musician of the Symphony Orchestra at National Academic Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theatre Belarus in Minsk (1992-2000); Artist-Vocalist / Soloist at National Academic Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theatre Belarus in Minsk (1999-2017); Opera singer at Belarusian State Academic Musical Theater (December 2009-December 2016). Since June 2017, he is Assistant Professor of Art at Christ University, Bangalore, Karnataka, India. |
