The Spanish soprano, Juana Molinero Sevilla, studied at the Escuela Superior de Canto de Madrid finishing her studies with an excellence (2016-). She also has a degree in Journalism and Audiovisual Communication from the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.
Juana Molinero is currently part as soprano of the Coro Intermezzo del Teatro Campoamor de Oviedo in the 2021-2022 opera season in the productions Nabucco, La Boheme and Adriana Lecouvreur. During 2021 she has worked giving concerts for Candlelight España in the project Los mejores musicales de Broadway held at the Palacio Neptuno and at the Teatro Goya. She has also played the leading role of Christine Daae in The Phantom of the Opera in concert at the Teatro Goya Multiespacio de Madrid in 2021. She has participated in the productions of the opers Turandot and Tosca of the Compañía Leonor Gago.
Juana Molinero is a member of the Compañía de Lírica Teatral OFF Lírico and has participated in the recovery project of the Baroque zarzuela Hasta lo insensible adora (1704) by Sebastián Durón. She is also a member of the Compañía Les Plaisirs, specialized in Baroque music and theater whose latest production has been the adaptation of A Midsummer Night's Dream with texts by W. Shakespeare and music by Henry Purcell.
Juana Molinero has collaborated as a soloist in the various musical projects carried out by the Orquesta y Coro de la Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, such as Carmina Burana held in Castelo Branco and Sabugal (Portugal); as well as W.A. Mozart's Requiem held at the Universidad de Coimbra (2019). She also collaborates with the newly created orchestra COAM de Madrid in 2021. Likewise, she collaborated with the Fundación Orquesta Sinfónica de Chamartin (FOSC) in the Matinales Musicales of the Teatro Reina Victoria (since December 2017) directed by César Belda; and in 2019 she participated as a choir member and soloist in Carmina Burana production of La Fura dels Baus, singing in the main theaters in Spain. She is a member as soprano of Coro Intermezzo at Ópera de Oviedo (since August 2021).
Juana Molinero has collaborated with the Real Conservatorio de Música de Madrid in the concert Estrenos de la Generación Emergente held at the Auditorium 400 of the Museo Centro de Arte Reina Sofía in Madrid in May 2021. She has also collaborated as a singer with the Real Conservatorio de Música de Madrid for the students of the Master's Degree in repertoire and accompanying pianist preparing works of Spanish song and French melody.
Juana Molinero combines her work as a singer with that of a Vocal Technique teacher at the Escuela Coral de Madrid (since November 2019). |
