The German soprano, Marlene Mild, received her singing training at the Musikhochschule Köln with Dieter Jacob und Reinhard Leisenheimer. In the area of Lieder singing her teachers were Gary Holt und Hartmut Höll. Participation in master-classes in the years 1992-1995 with Kurt Widmer, Edeltraut Blanke, Barbara Schlick and Kurt Moll supplemented her singing training. In 1997 Marlene Mild was Scholarship holder of the Stiftung Kunst und Kultur des Landes NRW (donation art and culture of the country North-Rhine Westphalia) and became winner of the Bundeswettbewerb Gesang Berlin in 996 with 1st Prize and that 3rd Prize of the Bundesebene for concert excellently.
After successful conclusion of her training with the artistic maturity examination, Marlene Mild got her first engagement at the commitment at the Theater in Hagen. Subsequently, followed guest appearances on the stages of Bühnen in Münster, Krefeld/Mönchengladbach, Bremerhaven, Dortmund and Köln. From 1998 to 2002 she was firm ensemble member of the Städtischen Bühnen Osnabrück. Since this time she has added to her repertoire many special roles, as Anna (Die lustigen Weiber von Windsor), Adele (Die Fledermaus), Marzelline (Fidelio), Eliza (My Fair Lady) among others. Starting from the 2002-2003 season she is firm member of the Oper Nürnberg - Staatstheater Nürnberg.
Apart from her work on the opera stage, Marlene Mild is just as important singer in the areas of Lieder and oratorio are just as important to Marlene Mild. Concerts with works by Bach, Händel, Mozart und Haydn led her many stages in Germany, as well as to France, Spain and Switzerland.
For her extraordinary achievement on the opera stage Marlene Mild was distinguished as an artist of the 2000-2001 season with Oskar of the Städtischen Bühnen Osnabrück. |
