The French soprano, Cyprile Meier, studied at Ecole du Fau in Thiers..After obtaining a Gold Medal of musical training at the .N.R. de Clermont-Ferrand, she studied singing at the Maîtrise de Notre-Dame de Paris, where she obtained a Diploma in Singing Techniques, and at the E.N.M. de Mantes la Jolie, in the class of Bernard Malet, where she obtained a Gold Medal and a Diplôme de Perfectionnement, mention of Excellence. At the same time, she attended numerous master-classes, including with Vera Rosza, Rachel Yakar, Howard Crook, Dominique Vellard, Udo Reinemann and Martin Isepp.
Cyprile Meier was soloist of the Baroque Ensemble Da Camera (Dir: D. Meier) for 11 years, she then deepened her medieval and contemporary repertoire with Ensemble Mora Vocis (voices of female soloists a cappella). She practiced ensemble music in several ensembles such as Arsys Bourgogne (Director: Pierre Cao), Choeur de Chambre de Namur (Director: Jean Tubéry), Les Eléments and Ensemble Jacques Moderne (Director of both: Joël Suhubiette), Les Musiciens du Louvre (Director: Marc Minkowski).
