The American soprano, Elizabeth Ann McGee, obtained her Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance with minor in Music Theory from the University of North Texas (2008-May 2013). She studied with Carol Wilson. She has appeared in opera at UNT and on the concert stage in North America as well as Europe. She has performed in many prestigious venues, including St. Mark's Basilica in Venice. Next to her solo activities she participated in the UNT Grand Chorus, University Singers and Collcgium Singers.
Elizabeth Ann McGee has been on three European tours as a featured soloist, and most recently has premiered a new choral work in Ireland. Recently she has been featured as a soloist on BBC Radio with The Incarnation Choir’s album "Choral Evensong for Eastertide", after which she completed a week-long residency at York Minster Cathedral. Next to her solo activities, she has performed with Orpheus Chamber Singers, Verdigris Ensemble, Denton Bach Society, Dallas Chamber Choir, Lake Houston Chamber Singers, Lumedia Musicworks, Incarnatus, Boston Early Music Festival, Victoria Bach Festival, and Ensemble VIII. She currently works as Development Associate and soprano Staff Singer at Church of the Incarnation in Dallas under the direction of Scott Dettra. She currently lives in Dallas, Texas |
