The Russian soprano, Uliana Maximova, she graduated from the Music Academy in Nizhny Novgorod in 2008. In Russia, she appeared in Snegurochka (Snow Maiden) in Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov's opera of the same name, and as Antonia in Les Contes d'Hoffmann by J. Offenbach.
In 2011, Uliana Maximova completed her Master of Music degree in opera and music theater at the Mozarteum Salzburg with Barbara Bonney. During her studies, she appeared as Ilia in W.A. Mozart's Idomeneo re di Creta, as Contessa in W.A. Mozart's Le nozze di Figaro and as Carolina in D. Cimarosa's Il matrimonio segreto or as Euterpe in C.W. Gluck's Il Parnaso confuso.
In 2008-2009 Uliana Maximova was recipient of the funding grant of the Hamel Stiftung Hannover. In 2011 she appeared as Papagena in W.A. Mozart's Die Zauberflöte at the Landestheater Salzburg. She is an ensemble member of Landestheater Salzburg and currently lives in Salzburg, Austria. |
