The American mezzo-soprano, Emily Lunde, studied at Shoreline Community College; North Seattle Community College (Associate of Arts (AA), Music Performance, General); and the University of Washington
(Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.), HI\/HIM (2011-2013; Activities and Societies: AHIMA, WSHIMA).
From 1989 to 2010, Emily Lunde was vocal soloist with Pacific NW Ballet, singing in the Nutcracker every December and also was a featured singer in Midsummer Night's Dream as well as the Johannes Brahms' Liebeslieder Waltzes. From 1980 to 2011, She was self-employed classical vocalist, singing for multiple area orchestras/choruses in works by George Frideric Handel, J.S. Bach, Felix Mendelssohn and many other composers, opera previews for Seattle Opera, Pacific NW Ballet Nutcracker soloist for 23 years. Since January 1991, she works as Med Transcriptionist II (Hospital & Health Care) at the University of Washington, transcribing multidisciplinary medical reports, voice recognition editing with excellent accuracy and speed.
