The Brazilian tenor, Marcos Liesenberg, began studying music at the age of seven on the recorder. Then came the violin, choral conducting, singing, sacred music. He graduated from the Literature course.
Marcos Liesenberg's career was marked by shows throughout Brazil and Europe. He distinguished himself as a soloist in several orchestras. In addition to being a strong supporter of singing, he was responsible for numerous concerts at Teatro Carlos Gomes in Blumenau. His specialty was German sacred music, especially J.S. Bach. He lived in Austria and Germany, where he studied and performed and excelled in operas. In Blumenau, he was the coach of the group Vocal Consort Blumenauensis, a chamber choir dedicated to classical music. In 2015, he was involved with the show Folia Renascentista
At 45 years of age, Marcos Liesenberg, from Santa Catarina, could not resist a massive heart attack and died at 11 pm on Saturday August 22, 2015. Brazilian classical music lost one of its great voices. "He was very studious, with an incredible professionalism and a lot of tuning,” said composer and pianist Alberto Heller, who has performed alongside Marcos in at least three operas, including W.A. Mozart's Die Zauberflöte. |
