The American sorano, Medeline Lane Lillich, obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology (2015-2019), her Bachelor of Arts degree in Music with focus on vocal music (2015-2019); and her Master's degree in Physiology (2019-2020), all University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She studied voice with Liz Field and Dr. Jeanne Fischer. With UNC Opera she performed the role of Oronte in George Frideric Handel's Alcina (November 2018). At the University she was Undergraduate Research Assistant (May 2015-May 2019).
Outside of class, Madeline Lillich enjoys teaching voice lessons through Musical Empowerment, an organization that provides lessons to young musicians in underprivileged communities surrounding Chapel Hill (January 2016-May 2019). She has been a member of our Chancel Choir for two years. She has been Volunteer at UNC Health Care (August 2016-May 2017), worked at MedScribes (August 2019-December 2021), and as Clinical Trial Site Management Associate (since September 2021). |
