The French soprano, Jeanne Lefort, a law graduate, trained in lyrical art at the Centre de Musique Baroque de Versailles and then at the CRR de Paris. She is marked by her vocal evolution with her teacher Doris Lamprecht, but also by her meeting with Stéphane Fuget and her work around the recitative in Italian music. She is winner of several prizes at the Georges Enesco and Gordes competitions.
Jeanne Lefort is praised by the public and critics for her precise diction, her luminous voice and her stage presence. In 2017, she was noticed by the conductor Jordi Savall who quickly entrusted her with various roles such as Ismene in Alcione by M. Marais at the Théâtre de Caen in 2018, the Angel and Brion in La Pastorale sur la Naissance de Jésus-Christ by M.A. Charpentier (Spain, 2020; recording for the Alia Vox label 2022) then in the Codex las Huelgas program (Fontfroide 2021, Arte, Alia Vox 2022).
Eager to accomplish herself in a diversified repertoire, Jeanne Lefort is passionate about Lieder and Melodies, which she studied with P. Biros (CRR de Paris) then with H. Fassbender and A. Le Bozec (Académie de Villecroze), and tackles the genre of comic opera alongside Les Frivolités parisiennes (2018). Her pronounced taste for French music led her to the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées where she played la chauve-souris in L'Enfant et les Sortilèges by Maurice Ravel (2016). She forms a duo with the pianist Pierre H. Joud, selected among the Young Talents at the Sinfonia Festival in Périgord 2019, as well as in the 2020-2021 season of the Young Talents in Paris. |
