Miran Lee (Mezzo-soprano)

Born: Seoul, South Korea

The Korean mezzo-soprano, Miran Lee, graduated at the top of the Vocal Music Department at Gachon-Kyungwon University and received her Master’s from Hanyang University. Thereafter, she was accepted to CNSMD de Lyon in France with top academics and honor (August 2000-April 2001). Provided with a full scholarship, she received her Soloist Diploma at Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris - Alfred Cortot, setting a strong foundation for her professional career. She has also received the audiences’ high accolades in other notable performances.

Miran Lee, with a rich voice and a natural talent for music, never fails to deliver a dazzling and heartfelt performance.

Miran Lee served as visiting professor at Seoul Institute of the Arts; and visiting professor at Kangnam University. She has been Lecturer at Sungkonghoe University Church Music Graduate School (since August 2018); Adjunct professor at Gachon University (since March 2019); Special lecturer at Hanyang University (since March 2019; teaching French diction for graduate students); Lecturer at Ewha Womans University (since August 2022). She currently lives in Seoul, South Korea.
