Blanka Kulínská embarked on her career as a choir mistress at the age of seventeen through co-operation with the Children's Choir of Czechoslovak radio. From 1954 she worked together with her husband Bohumil Kulínský in the concert division of the choir, and shared in the preparation of radio recordings and a number of foreign excursions. At the same time she studied aesthetics, philosophy, pedagogy and solo singing at the Pedagogical Faculty of Charles University in Prague. She completed her studies by becoming a doctor of philosophy.
In 1973 Blanka Kulínská founded the ensemble Bambini di Praga together with her husband. Alongside her work in the private School of Choir Singing with Bambini di Praga and heading the Children's Choir of Czech Radio, her position as choir mistress of Bambini di Praga forms the mainstay of her artistic work. |
