The Austrian tenor (and former boy soprano), Patrick Maria Kühn, began to gain his first experiences as a soloist of the St. Florianer Sängerknaben (Director: Franz Farnberger) in Europe and the world at an early age. In Vienna he studied not only German and History but also singing (with Maria Brojer).
Since 2008, Patrick Kühn he is a member and choral soloist of the Arnold Schoenberg Chor. He also sings and plays at the Salzburg Festival and the Baden Baden Festival. Smaller roles brought him in his studies on various off-stages and in recent years to the folk theater (Der Riese vom Steinfeld, director: Stephanie Mohr; Im Weißen Rössl, Michael Schottenberg), and the Burgtheater (Faust I, Matthias Hartmann und Antigone, Jette Steckel). In the Theater an der Wien, he often performs choral works, such as. in Monteverdi's Orfeo and Lera Auerbach's The Blind in der Kammeroper, as well as acting, as most recently in Georges Bizet's Les pêcheurs de perles. He currently lives in Vienna, Austria. |
