The American mezzo-soprano and music teacher, Samantha Kuemmerle, obtained her Bachelor of Music Education degree from Friends University (2021). She performed in the university production the role of Bradamante in George Frideric Handel's Alcina (October 2020). In March 2021, she was the student conductor of the Singing Quakers and in 2020 she was the student teacher assistant of the WCCC children’s chorus. In November 2020, she won 2nd place at Miller Competition. She loves teaching music and being a part of a great community such as Friends and is excited to see where her career takes her. As a student she taught at at Derby High School and Tanglewood Elementary. After graduating she teaches at Juniper Arts Academy. |
