The German soprano, Rabea Kramp, got her first violin and piano lessons at the age of 7 and 11. With 17 she started singing and studied with Professor Klaus Häger in Rostock until she moved to Stuttgart in 2006 to study with Professor Ulrike Sonntag. Aided by the Baden-Württemberg-scholarship she spent some months in London at the Guildhall to study with Professor Rudolf Piernay. She participated actively in many master-classes with Grace Bumbry, Peter Schreier, Anna Tomowa-Sintow, Cheryl Studer, Rudolf Piernay, Erwin Gage a.o. She is a scholarship holder of the Deutsche Studienstiftung des Deutschen Volkes and the Yehudi-Menuhin-foundation. In 2011 she won the first price at the Paula-Salomon-Lindberg-song-competition in Berlin.
Several times Rabea Kramp sang with the Polish Chamber Orchestra under Wojciech Rajski, 2010 she sang Gustav Mahler's Symphony No. 4 in Brixen/Italy and with Helmuth Rilling in Stuttgart at the Musikfest Stuttgart 2011. She currently lives in Stuttgart, Germany. |
