The American mezzo-soprano, flautist and pianist, Alexis Korbe, obtained her Bachelor of Music and Bachelor of Arts degrees in Flute performance and French from Fort Hays State University (2004-2010); in summer 2008, she studied French intensively at the Centre de Linguistique Appliquée in Besançon of Université de Franche-Comté, France; she obtained her Master of Music degree in Flute Performance, Opera Performance Grade A from Wichita State University (2012-2016); and her Artist Diploma in Voice from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (2016-2018), where she was Graduate Teaching Assistant under Sylvia Stone.
