The German soprano and organist, Annegret Kleindopf, studied church music in Frankfurt am Main, early music with an emphasis on organ and singing at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis, and historical performance practice with a major in voice with Professor Jörn Dopfer at the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Frankfurt am Main. She participated in master-classes for singing, e.g. with Emma Kirkby, Evelyn Tubb, Mieke van der Sluis and Peter Kooy.
From 1991 to 2003, Annegret Kleindopf provided a job as a full-time Kantor at Frankfurt am Main. Since 2004 she lives and works in Stade, first as a church musician at St. Cosmae et Damiani and now as an executive at Orgelakademie Stade, in particular a project called "Alte Orgeln für junge Menschen". Besides, Annegret Kleindopf performs as a singer and organist with numerous concerts and CD productions. She regularly draws up programmes with instrumental soloists or ensembles for early music. She is a member of the Johann Rosenmüller Ensemble Leipzig and the Vokalensembles Frankfurt-a-cappella. |
