The Korean soprano, Sungyeun Kim, who was born and raised in South Korea, has been recognized for her potential and diverse performance abilities as a classically trained vocalist. Passionate about vocal music from an early age, she has performed in concerts at the most illustrious halls in South Korea, including Seoul Arts Center, Sejong Art Center and Lotte Concert Hall. Now as a secondyear student in the Graduate Vocal Arts Program at Bard Conservatory of Music, she has appeared as a soloist in Gustav Mahler's Symphony No. 2 with The Orchestra Now conducted by Leon Botstein and the role of the Fox in Bard’s production of Janáček’s The Cunning Little Vixen. |
