Jeni Kim (Soprano)

Born: South Korea

The Korean soprano, Jeni Kim (Korean: 김제니), studied at Seoul National University College of Music, Department of Vocal Music; Graduated from the Department of Vocal Music and the Department of Song at the Idanria Ilano Verdi National Conservatory of Music; Graduated from the Department of Vocal Music at the Ilano Municipal Conservatory of Music; Graduated from the Department of Vocal Music at the Ecole Normale in France; Graduated from the Department of Early Music at the Paris Municipal Conservatory of Music; Graduated from the Highest Performer Course. She was singer at the National Vocal Institute of Marseille (CNIPAL) in France. She was Winner and award winner at the Deljani International Vocal Competition in Italy, the Balaguer International Vocal Competition in Spain, and the Burgundy International Vocal Competition in France.

Jeni Kim has been lead singer at concerts and operas at numerous European theaters, including the Sarlat Theater in Paris, the Theater de Marseille, the Theater de Avignon, the Theater de Multong in Switzerland, and the Victoria Hall in Geneva, Switzerland, as well as the Seoul Metropolitan Opera, the National Opera Company of Korea.

Jeni Kim was lecturer at Seoul National University, Ewha Womans University, and Chungyang University. Currently she is Professor at Presbyterian University and Theological Seminary.
