The Armenian tenor, Berj Karazian, completed the full course in 2000 as the last vocal student of Professor Tatevik Sazandaryan (soprano; 1916-2000) at Yerevan's Komitas State Conservatory (KSC),and qualified as a Opera & Concert Singer and Vocal art Teacher. He continued his studies at KSC and completed the Post Graduation Course in 2003 studying under Professor Gayane Geghamyan. He finished an Opera Preparation course in (RSAMD) in 2008-2009 season in Scotland. He participated in master-class Operenwerkstatt 2010 in Switzerland. Prizes in competitions.include: Republic Competition after Isahakyan for Young Singers - 2nd Prize (1997); Tatevik Sazandarian Republic Competition - 2nd Prize (2006).
Berj Karazian is a soloist of the Yervan National Academic Opera & Ballet Theater after Spendiaryan, the Opera Studio of (KSC), the Tagharan Ensemble of Ancient Music, the Mother in Etchmiadzin, and a performer with the Armenian State Philharmonic Orchestra in Yerevan. As lyric (full) tenor, he is singing in a warm graceful voice with a bright, full timbre that is strong but not heavy. He has performed in many countries as in Armenia in Germany, China, Italy, France, Switzerland, Russia (Moscow,Saint-Betersburg), Cyprus, Greece, Serbia, Lebanon. He currently lives in Yerevan, Armenia.
