The German choral conductor, Hans Jörg Kalmbach, studied school music and artistic structure examination piano at the Musikhochschule Karlsruhe.
From 1976 to 1982 Hans-Jörg Kalmbach was director of the re-created Jugend Musikschule Calw and had training post for Korrepetition (choral coaching) at the Musikhochschule Karlsruhe. In 1983 he created the Aurelius Sängerknaben Calw. In 1985-1986 he was voice builder with the Tölzer Knabenchor in Munich. Since 1987 he dedicates himself primarily to rehearsing important standard works of the sacred and secular choral literature with the Aurelius Sängerknaben Calw.
Hans-Jörg Kalmbach has become busy with voice building education seminars, workshops and papers, and has been was frequently invited to give lectures about "training of the child's voice".
At the beginning of 2004 Hans-Jörg Kalmbach started his new post at the Musikakademie Altensteig as a project manager in the area of "singing with children". |
