In 1979 Hans Jaskulsky was appointed as a director of university music at the Musische Zentrum of the Ruhr-Universität Bochum. Choir and orchestras of the Ruhr-Universität as well as two chamber ensembles, the Collegium Vocale and the Collegium Instrumentale, stand there under his direction. Since 1998 he is responsible also for the organ concert series "Klangwelten" at the grand Klais-Orgel des Auditorium Maximum of the Ruhr-Universität.
From 1990 to 1996 Hans Jaskulsky held a lecturer post for orchestra conducting at the Hochschule für Musik in Frankfurt/Main. A training post connects him with the Musikwissenschaftlichen Institut of the Ruhr-Universität Bochum. His activities included also directing courses, producing record and broadcast recordings as well as concert tours in Europe and other continents. He has co-operated with many renowned soloists, choirs and orchestras in his homeland and abroad.
Hans Jaskulsky leads the Musikwochen of the "Internationalen Arbeitskreises für Musik" (IAM), whose chairman he is since 1998, and takes over Juror tasks with choir festivals and choir competitions. As a chairman of the Vorsitzender des Internationalen Chorleiterverbandes (ICV) (international choir director federation) he initiated and led in 1995, 1998 and 2001 the "Internationale Chorfestival Ruhr a cappella" (international choir festival Ruhr A cappella), with world-renowned choirs presenting themselves in cities of the Ruhr state.
