The American baritone, Greg Honeycutt, serves today an adjunct instructor of voice at Campbell University.
Greg Honeycutt has been a frequent recitalist in the Music for the Lunch Bunch series in Smithfield, North Carolina, as well as being bass soloist in the Campbell University Choral Society’s 2001 performance of George Frideric Handel’s Messiah. He has performed as soloist with the Johnston County Choral Society, the Hillyer Community Chorus, the Enloe Chamber Choir, and the Chapel Hill-Carrboro Community Chorus, as well as in the 2000-2001 performance season of the Raleigh Chamber Choir, the professional arm of the Raleigh Oratorio Society.
Greg Honeycutt’s recent stage roles include those of Captain Von Trapp in the Benson Little Theatre’s production of The Sound of Music, and the Tin Man in the Neuse Little Theatre’s production of The Wizard of Oz.
In addition to his position at Campbell, Greg Honeycutt also serves as part-time voice instructor at Johnston Community College and at Heritage Bible College in Dunn, North Carolina, and as music appreciation instructor at Wake Technical Community College. He also teaches voice out of his home in Johnston County, North Carolina, and serves as member, deacon, and choir director at Pleasant Hill Christian Church, also near Benson. |
