The German conductor, Theodor Holthoff, studied church music in Dortmund, where he passed his A-exam. After his organ and choir directing studies in Dortmund, took place studies at the Kölner Musikhochschule in the organ class with Professor Josef Zimmermann. After his artistic training with Kapellmeister courses, Theodor Holthoff finished his studies with diploma of artist and passed the concert exam.
Since 1972 Theodor Holthoff is a director of the Domchor at the Hohen Dom of Paderborn. He is also a teacher for choir directing at the Musikhochschule Dortmund. As artistic directors/conductor of the Philharmonischen Gesellschaft Paderborn, he directs in addition an annual cycle of symphonic concerts. |
