The German mezzo-soprano, Milena Haunhorst, is the daughter of two professional musicians. A such, she came into contact with classical music at an early age and played the violin and viola for a long time before she decided to take up singing. She is currently studying for my Master’s degree in voice at the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Frankfurt am Main (since 2020) with Thilo Dahlmann.
After having sung for a year as an academist in the WDR Rundfunkchor Köln, Milena Haunhorst is now also working there as a freelancer.
In her free time, instead of music, Milena Haunhorst enjoys listening to audio books and doing sports. In addition, she has been a vegan for several years and have discovered a passion for (vegan) cooking. She currently lives in Essen. |
