The French mezzo-soprano, Lila Hajosi, obtained her Licence in Musicology from Aix-Marseille UniversityAix-Marseille University (2011-2014); and her Master degree in Medieval Musicology from Université Paul Valéry - Montpellier III (2014-2016). She began her vocal training in 2012 in Conservatoire d'Aix en Provence, where she studied with Mareike Schellenberger, Isabelle Lusignan and Monique Zanetti and graduated with a triple degrees of singing, acting and early music singing (2012-2014). Then she entered the Conservatoire de Marseille in the Lyrical Art class of her private singing teacher Magali Damonte (2015-2017). Since 2016 she has undertaken private classes with Malcolm Walker. Through master-classes and occasional lessons she received the teaching of Sara Mingardo, Teodor Currentzis, Jordi Savall, Laurence Dale, Brigitte Balleys, Stéphanie d’Oustrac, and Regina Werner-Dietrich. In 2017 she graduates with a Premier Prix d’Art Lyrique in the Conservatoire of Marseille and as chosen for the Academy of the Fundació CIMA directed by Jordi Savall who then invited her to sing in La Capella Reial de Catalunya. She also received the Prix Jeune Espoir Dussurget (founder of the Festival d’Aix en Provence).
Since 2018 Lila Hajosi is an artist in residence in the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel in Belgium with José Van Dam and Sophie Koch that she chose after being also received in the Royal Academy of Copenhagen and the Biel Studio Opera. She is member of L'Arpeggiata (Director: Christina Pluhar), L'Achéron (Director: François Joubert-Caillet) and La Capella Reial de Catalunya (Director: Jordi Savall). Supported by her triple formation she performs in programs from Medieval era (Ensemble Irini which she foinded and directs sine 2015) to Baroque (La Capella Reial de Catalunya, Ricercare Antico, l’Arpeggiata and l’Achéron in 2020 and 2021 ..) to operatic repertoire, oratorios, and in creations (Zad Moultaka) or as an actress. She performed in prestigious stages such as the Liceu in Barcelona, Aix en Provence Opera, Philharmonie de Paris, Teatro Ristori in Verona and under the direction of conductors such as Marc Korovitch, Jordi Savall and Jacques Chalmeau.
Her next projects will be at Théâtre des Champs Elysées, Opéra Linz, Musikverein Graz, Martigny, Berlin Philharmonie, Tonhalle Düsseldorf, München, for a Monteverdi program with l’Arpeggiata, conducted by Christina Pluhar and alongside Rolando Villazón.
Lila Hajosi recorded for Alia Vox, Brillant Classics, and l’empreinte digitale (Maria Nostra 1st disc of her ensemble Irini receives in 2019 a « Choc » of Classica magazine).
