The American soprano, Kristen Hahn, had her first experience with the American Classical Orchestra at age 11. She sang in the chorus for L.v. Beethoven’s Choral Fantasy and Mozart’s Ave Verum Corpus, which led to other American Classical Orchestra performances as a soprano soloist. In 2003, Hahn won the role of Rebecca Gibbs in the Broadway production of Our Town starring Paul Newman. She reprised the role for the filming of the production, which aired on PBS Masterpiece Theatre and Showtime. Hahn is currently (2010) a Vocal Performance Major in her junior year at Carnegie Mellon University, taking classes in Acting, Dance, Music History, Keyboarding and Language.
Kristen Hahn performed as a featured soloist in an All Bach Concert with the American Classical Orchestra (ACO) at the Church of the Blessed Sacrament, New York City on February 24, 2010. She was the soloist in J.S. Bach’s Coffee Cantata (BWV 211). |
