The Belgian tenor, pianist and choral conductor, Govaart Haché, began his music studies at the Muziekacademie van Ekeren. At the muziekacademie van Ekeren he became a qualified pianist with Alan Weiss and Johan Lybeert. He also received his singing diploma with Lieve Jansen and Godfried Van de Vyvere as vocal sources of inspiration. Thanks to the speech therapist Livia Cuypers, he came into contact with the Lichtenberg method. He attended singing master-classes with Alexander Oliver, Zeger Vandersteene, Jeannette Fischer, Maurice Willems, Hera Björk (Complete Vocal Technique), Udo Reinemann, Edda Moser and Barbara Bonney. In 2009, he took singing lessons with Tom Krause at the Sommerakademie in Salzburg. These singing lessons prove extremely valuable. In 2010, he completed his Master degree in Chamber music. During the summers of 2006 and 2008 he attended the Kurt Thomas course in Utrecht to gain experience with choral conducting.
Govaart Haché likes to teach and does this in the Music Academies of Berchem and Essen. He teaches Musical Education at the Sint-Ludgardisschool in Merksem. The Academy of Ekeren counts on his guidance talent. Via Koor & Stem, he works as a vocal coach for choirs and during the summer vacations he works as a singing teacher at Music Camp in Carlsbourg.
Govaart Haché sang from an early age with the Ekerse C-koren, where he can still be heard as a tenor with the Vocaal Ensemble Cantando. He sings freelance in vocal ensembles, including White’n’Black, Accolade, Psallentes, Capilla Flamenca, Ensemble BachPlus (Director: Bart Naessens), Currende and Vlaams Radio Koor. In addition, he also builds a solo career. |
