The Chilean mezzo-soprano and singing teacher, Vivian Guerra, completed her singing at the Conservatory of Santiago, complemented by a singing studies at the Kölner Musikhochschule with Professor Reinhard Leisenheimer, as well as Baroque singing with Kai Wessel.
As a soloist, Vivian Guerra performed with many oratorios in the most important concert halls of her homeland. She has already participated in various opera productions. Her repertoire includes role as 2nd/3rd Lady and 2nd/3rd Boy in W.A. Mozart's Die Zauberflote, Cherubino in W.A. Mozart's Le Nozze di Figaro, Dorabella in W.A. Mozart's Cosi fan tutte, Zerlina in W.A. Mozart's Don Giovanni, Hänsel in Engelbert Humperdinck's Hansel und Gretel, Meg Page in Falstaff, Mercedes in Georges Bizet's Carmen, Suzuki in Madame Butterfly, Dido in Dido and Aeneas, Glasha in Katja Kabanova, Curra in La Forza del Destino, La chatte/L'écureuil in L'Enfant et les Sortileges and the first maid in Elektra.
Vivian Guerra has worked with conductors like Michael Gielen, Werner Ehrhart. Peter Neumann, Harald Jers, Rafael Frühbeck de Burgos, Krzysztof Penderecki, Sylvain Cambreling and Vladimir Jurowski as well as with the directors Giancarlo del Monaco and Plácido Domingo. She is also a member of Chorus Musicus Köln (Director: Christoph Spering).
In September 2011, Vivian Guerra joined the team of Stimm-Werkstatt Anno Lauten. She gives mainly individual lessons in voice training. Lied, oratorio and opera singing. She married Pablo Saez on August 4, 2015. |
