The Swiss mezzo-soprano, Angela Göldi, grew up in St. Gallen Rhine Valley and now resides in Flawil. Upon completion of the teaching seminar, she studied singing with the E. Schmidt-Valentin in Munich and Stefan Kramp in Basel. In 1997, she won a singing competition of the Schweizerischen Musikrates (Swiss Music Council).
Today Angela Göldi performs as an ensemble soloist at the Cathedral of St. Gallen. As a concert singer she appears at home and in neighboring countries. Her repertoire includes the great sacred works from the oratorio and concert literature. |
