The Romanian violinist and soprano, Renáta Gebe-Fügi, graduated from the violin class of the Sigismund Toduță High School of Music, and then she obtained her diploma in violin at the Gheorghe Dima Academy of Music, in Cluj-Napoca (2012-2016). At present, she is a canto student at the Gheorghe Dima Academy of Music, and also a violin player of the National Hungarian Opera in Cluj-Napoca. She has been studying early music for violin since she was 15 years old. She attended the master-classes of Petr Zeifart (Oradea, Parma - Italy), Sophie Gent (Vannes - France) and Bernhard Forck (Sund - Norway).
Renáta Gebe-Fügi performed in numerous concerts in Hungary, Switzerland, the Czech Republic and Italy, with the ensemble Posticum Iuventutis Internationalis. Due to her interest in early music, she performed as a singer in the ensembles Quarto D’Oro and Fonte di Gioia, and in the La Stravaganza Baroque Music Festival, with the Transylvania Galante Baroque ensemble. In November 2017, she won the first prize at the singing competition of the Mozart Festival in Cluj-Napoca. |
