The American soprano, McKenzie Garey, obtained her Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance Music from Eastman School of Music, University of Rochester (September 2018-May 2022), in the studio of Robert Swensen. At Eastman she was a membrer of Eastman Chorale (Director: William Weinert), sang the role of Rapunzel in Stephen Sondheim's Into The Woods (Eastman Opera Theatre, April 2022), and paticipated as a soloist in Eastman School of Music: Bach Cantata Series (BWV 44). She currently studies for her Master of Music degree in Voice at University of Houston Moores School of Music (since April 2022).
McKenzie Garey has been Activities Assistant at Eastman School of Music (August 2021-May 2022); Vocal Music Counselor at Tennessee Governor's School for the Arts (since June 2021). She currently lives in Houston, Texas. |
