The German mezzo-soprano, Stefanie Früh, studied singing with Professor Reri Grist and Professor Rita Hirner-Lill at the Hochschule für Musik in Munich, and finished her studies with artistic diploma in concert singing.
Since finishing her studies, Stefanie Früh is active as a free-lance singer in Munich. Apart from her activity as a concert singer, she dedicates herself - as a member of the ensemble KammerKunst, München - also to Lieder singing. Her first opera engagements led her to the Freie Landestheater Bayern, the Ekhof-Theater in Gotha and the Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz in München (Cenerentola), among others. Her opera roles include Cenerentola belongs in Rossini's opera of the same name, Hänsel in Engelbert Humperdinck's Hänsel und Gretel, and the 3rd Lady in W.A. Mozart's Zauberflöte. For several years she is member of the concert choir of the Bayerischen Rundfunks and teacher for voice at the Staatlichen Berufsfachschule für Logopädie. With the ensemble così facciamo she appeared for the first time as an Empress Ottavia in a prduction of Monteverdi's Poppea in 2004-2005 season. |
