The Swedish violinist and soprano, Susanne Francett, has received her education as violinist at the Stockholm Royal College of Music (Master of Music degree in Violin: 1998-2005) and Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler Berlin (Music, Violin: 2004-2005) and as coloratura soprano at the Academy of Chamber Music and Opera at Mälardalen University (Chamber Music, Singing: 2013) and at Stockholm Opera Studio (Opera Singing: 2007-2009).
Susanne Francett now works with Stockholm as a base. Her activities include chamber music concerts, solo concerts, and childrens concerts among others. She performs for example in churches, in the big concert houses and in schools. She has worked on a regular basis as violinist in the Nordic Chamber Orchestra (October 2008-July 2013, Gävle Symfoniorkester (since 2006) and Uppsala Kammarorkester (since 2022); and as a singer in the Swedish Radio Choir (since May 2009) and Eric Ericson Chamber Choir (since 2012). She frequently performs as a soloist at Church concerts. Among her many passions as a musician is to constantly develop and to interact with her audience on all levels. |
