The American-born soprano, Molly Kathryn Flanagan, she began to study lyrical singing in 2010 at Missouri State University with the soprano Carol L. Chapman. In 2012 she moved to the city of Santiago in Chile to launch her the lyrical singing career at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (UC) under the guidance of the tenor Rodrigo del Pozo.
She has participated as a soloist in various concerts such as George Frideric Handel's Messiah, conducted by Eduardo Jahnke, and Schubert's Mass in G major. She has also attended master-class with the lute player Manuel de Grange on French Baroque music. She has also participated in productions such as Jesus Christ Super Star (October 2013) and Les Miserables, playing the role of Cosette, which she performs at Campus Oriente UC (November 2014). As of March 2015, she was in the upper stage of a career in lyrical singing. She currently lives in Santiago, Chile. |
