The Dutch soprano, Vera Fiselier, came into contact with music at an early age because of her parents, both classical singers. After her interest for classical singing was stimulated by singing in the National Youth Choir for Women, a department of Vocaal Talent Nederland, she decided to study privately with her uncle, baritone Frans Fiselier. In 2012 she started her studies at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague, where studied with Sasja Hunnego and received coachings from Phyllis Ferwerda. She graduated with a 9 and distinction from the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague in June 2017. She attended courses and masterclasses in the Canto program in Zagreb. She will continue her studies at the Folkwang Universität der Künste in Essen.
Vera Fiselier sang Dorothée in a production of the Dutch National Opera Academy and took part in Opera Mosset and Salone dell’ Opera productions. Also, she sang the roles of Jane and stationmanager in the newly composed operas All Rise and De Grens by Jan-Peter de Graaff. She was part of J.S. Bach's Mass in B minor (BWV 232), organized by the Royal Conservatoire and the Julliard School, in which she sang second soprano in the choir, directed by Ton Koopman. |
