The German soprano, Hanna Eittinger, studied cello at the Meistersingerkonservatorium in Nürnberg (Nuremberg). Soon however, she moved to the singing class of Professor Barbara Schlick at the Musikhochschule Würzburg and deepened her studies with Professor Eugene Rabin (Weimar). She also attended master-classes with Professor Jessica Cash, Professor Judith Beckmann, Linda Hirst and others, and was awarded several scholarships.
Hanna Eittinger, whose concert repertoire ranges from Baroque to Modern, is heard both in oratorio and Lieder recitals as well as in opera roles. As a guest, she was invited to various festivals (Bienale München, Bach Tage Würzburg, Orgeltage Rennes, Cantionale Müchen). Radio and CD recordings of her broad repertoire are available. By collaborating with various orchestras, such as the Nürnberger Symphoniker, Musica Fiata Köln, La Stravaganza Köln, she has received important artistic impulses.
The special interest of Hanna Eittinger has always been singing pedagogy. She has been teaching since 1988 at the Berufsfachschule für Musik Sulzbach-Rosenberg in the fields of singing, voice training, speech training and methods. From 1990 to 1994, she launched a major class at the Musikhochschule Saarbrücken. Since 1999 she teaches singing also at the University of Erlangen-Nürnberg. In addition, she operates as a voice trainer with various choirs, such as Hans Sachs Chor and Kantorei St. Sebald Nürnberg. |
