The Belgian soprano, Bernadette Degelin, studied singing at the Royal Flemish Music Conservatory of Brussels and won the Higher Diploma by Louis Devos.
Bernadette Degelin's repertopire includes early, classical and contemporary music. She sang at the biggest festivals led by conductors such as Frühbeck de Burgos, Roberto Benzi, David Atherton, Paul Sacher, Kenneth Montgomery, Kurt Redel, Henry Lewis, Avi Ostrowsky, Mendi Rodan, Jean-Marie Auberson, Günter Neuhold, Georges Octors, Pierre Cao, Pierre Bartholomée, Alexander Rahbari, Ed Spanjaard, Manuel Galduf and Jean-Paul Salanne.
Bernadette Degelin, is the main singing teacher at the Conservatory of Antwerp. She has taken part in twenty CD's, some of which won major international prizes such as the Prix Mondial de Montreux, the Grand Prix du Disque, the Grand Prix de l’Académie Française and the Orfée d’Or.
