The Serbian lyric-coloratura soprano, Ana Cvetković-Stojnić, began her musical education as a violin player. She graduated at the elementary music school ‘Stanislav Binicki’ for violin, continuing further her musical education in two art schools - in ‘St. Mokranjac’ musical secondary school, voice department, studying with Professor Georgi Minov and Ballet secondary school ‘Lujo Davico’, at the special department for traditional songs and dances from Balkan. She graduated at the Faculty of Music as one of the most promising students of the voice department, studying with Professor Gordana Jevtovic/Aneta Ilic (2008). After receiving her Bachelor degree, she continued her studies specializing in Operatic repertoire with Professor Nikola Mijailovic. She received the Opera Master Degree attending studies at the Vienna Private University of Music and Art (MUK) (2012). In Austria, she received the ‘CEE Musiktheater’ scholarship which promotes education of the most promising young opera talents in South-East Europe (2011).
Ana Cvetković-Stojnić participated in master-classes held by James Hooper and Doreen DeFeis (Weikersheim), Teodore Coresi (Vienna), Snezana Stamenkovic (Mannheim). She also participated in master classes for Baroque music held by Professor Nigel Rogers (Berlin), Roberta Mameli (Austrian Baroque Academy, Gmunden), Katherine Haataja (Operosa, Belgrade), Marijana Mijanovic (Belgrade). Her competition successes include First Prize winner and Laureate at Nikola Cvejic International vocal competition in her home country (2001) as well as the Fourth Prize and Finalist at the Ferruccio Tagliavini vocal competition in Austria (2006). All participants were honoured to have Dame Joan Sutherland as the main member of Jury. Working with Doreen DeFeis and James Hooper she received first price and appearance with Wernigerode chamber Orchestra in Germany. She is a Winner of ABA-Award "Concert in Schwetzingen" given by the Austrian Baroque Academy in Gmunden for her excellent work and performance throughout the master-course in 2013.
Ana Cvetković-Stojnić was very active on Belgrade scene as a member of the prestigious group named ‘Selected for the Chosen’, that promotes young talented Serbian artists. During her studies in Belgrade, she received the prestigious ‘Anita Mezetova’ award from the voice department as the student with the most successful concert activity. Ana has performed at all major concert halls in Belgrade and participated in chamber music festivals such as "Mokranjac days", "Tisa Flower", "Marble and Sounds" and the Young International Review "Coma". As a soloist, she has collaborated with Serbian Radio and Television Symphony Orchestra, "Stanislav Binicki" Army Symphony Orchestra, Opera Graz Philharmonic Orchestra, Orchestra Roma Sinfonietta and Wernigerode Kammerorchester.
Ana Cvetković-Stojnić sang at the Premiere of the piece Ten speaking of Threehanded Virgin from Hilandar written for two choirs, soloists and keyboards, conducted by Darinka Matic-Marovic in Grand Concert Hall Kolarac in Belgrade (composed by Zoran Hristic ,1938, lyrics by Lj. Simovic , 1935). Renowned composer Hristic dedicated the soprano vocal line for Ana's voice. She performed at the Harp Festival in Grand Concert Hall Kolarac , Premiere of Oratorio by Valeri Kikta - La luce delle tacite stelle for 12 harp orchestra, choir, tenor and soprano, conducted by Dragana Jovanovic. She performed as a soloist at the Guitar Art Festival in Belgrade Arena with Roma Sinfonietta, conducted by Ennio Morricone. She also sang J.S. Bach's Mass in B-minor (BWV 232) with the Symphony Orchestra of Radio Television Serbia, conducted by Bojan Sudjic (May 2014). She took part at the Early Music Festival in Belgrade and sang J.S. Bach's Cantate Non sa che sia dolore BWV 209, with Belgrade Baroque. She performed as a soloist on the concert ‘Evening of Bach and Mozart’ in Grand Concert Hall Kolarac with Simfonietta Chamber Orchestra and Madrigal Choir of the Faculty of Music, conducted by Aleksandar S. Vujic. She sang W.A. Mozart's Mass Brevis KV49, J.S. Bach's Cantata BWV 140, and W.A. Mozart's Exultate, jubilate K165. She sang W.A. Mozart's Requiem with the Symphony Orchestra of Nis, conducted by Fimco Muratovski. She performed for the CD ‘Music for trumpet and organ’, published by the University of Arts in Belgrade/Faculty of Music with three Scarlatti Aries in Cathedral The Blessed Virgin Merry with Professor Mladen Djordjevic - trumpet, Prof. Maja Smiljanic - organ and Dejan Bozic - basso continuo. Her cherish concert with her pianist Vladimir Stojnic and their recital ‘Evening of Strauss and Schumann’, held in October 2013, was awarded by The Association of Musical Artists of Serbia as The Best Concert in 2014. Their repertoire includes composers of French, Italian and German songs. She took part in the Chamber ensemble ‘Quadrema’ for violin, flute, piano and voice, established to promote contemporary Serbian composers. Due to a very uncommon ensemble, the composers wrote especially for them. The ‘Quadrema’ ensemble received the Gold plaque at the Music Festival ‘Mokranjcevi dani’ in Negotin.
As a member of the Opera Studio at the National Theatre in Belgrade, Ana Cvetković-Stojnić sang Carolina in Cimarosa’s Il Matrimonio Segreto and made her debut in Royal Theatre in Cetinje, Montenegro in Monteverdi’s operas L’Orfeo and L’incoronazione di Poppea as La Musica and Drusilla. Ana had the honour to perform with renowned conductors home and abroad such as: Ennio Morricone (Italy), Christian Pollack (Austria), Roland Kluttig, Roland Fister, Lorenzo Da Rio, Alexander Merzyn (Germany), Fimco Muratovski (Macedonia), Darinka Matic-Marovic, Premil Petrovic, Aleksandar S.Vujic, Stanko Jovanovic, Dragana Jovanovic, Bojan Sudjic. Since 2011, she is a member of the ‘Association of Musical Artists of Serbia’.
Ana Cvetković-Stojnić made her professional debut in Japan 2011 with the Opera Operetta Classical Vienna Series, touring as Micaela in Georges Bizet’s opera Carmen. Her first engagement was in German State Opera House in Coburg (2014-2017) where she built her repertoire in 14 different roles, including Violetta Valery in La Traviata (Verdi), Konstanze in Die Entführung aus dem Serail (W.A. Mozart), Musetta in La Bohème (Puccini), Gretel in Hänsel und Gretel (Engelbert Humperdinck), Cupid in King Artur (Purcell), Lakmé in Lakmé (Delibes), Sophie in Der Rosenkavalier (Strauss), Anna Reich in Lustige Weiber von Windsor (Nicolai), Belinda in Dido and Aeneas (Purcell) and Adalgisa in Bellini’s Norma. In her most successful roles as Lakmé, Violetta Valéry, Musetta, Sophie and Konstanze, Ana earned wonderful feedback and reviews from the public and the German press. Her Konstanze was recognised by the Glyndebourne Festival who invited Ana to cover the role on ''Glyndebourne Tour'' from December-January 2015-2016. |

2001: With only three years of singing lessons Ana won the First Price in the second category and Laureat Price as overall winner in all categories at ‘Nikola Cvejic’ international vocal competition in her home country Serbia. Until now she is still the youngest contest in the history of this particular competition who achieved such a success.
2003: As a students at ‘Faculty of Music Art’ in Belgrade, Ruzica, Martina, Jelenand Ana established chamber ensemble ‘Quadrema’ for violin, flute, piano and voice,in wish to perform and promote pieces of contemporary Serbian composers. In a due to a very uncommon ensemble composers wrote especially for them.
2004: Chamber ansamble ‘Quadrema’ received Gold plaque on Music Festival ‘Mokranjcevi dani’ in Negotin for promoting works of Serbian composers.
2006: International Vocal competition ‘ Ferruccio Tagliavini’ in Austria, Finalist and Fourth Prize. Price included appearance with orchestra of Opera Graz, on the main stage. That year all participants have had honour and pleasure to have Dame Joan Sutherland as a main member of the Jury.

2009: Ennio Morricone and Roma Sinfonietta on the Guitar Art Festival in Belgrade Arena. Ana was a soloist of the choir ‘Obilic’ that night, who was prepared by choir conductor Darinka Matić Marović.
2009: Sprecializing in operatic repertoire with Professor Nikola Mijailovic on Faculty of Music Art in Belgade.
2010: Role Debut as Queen of the Night in W.A. Mozart's Die Zauberflöte and Mademoiselle Silberklang in in W.A. Mozart's Der Schauspieldirektor at Akzent Theatre in Vienna.
2011: Ana made her professional debut in Japan with Opera Operetta Classical Vienna Series, touring as Micaela in Georges Bizet’s opera Carmen.
2011: In Vienna Ana received Austrian foundation ‘CEE Musiktheater’ scholarship which promotes education of the most promising young opera talents in SouthEast Europe.
2012: Ana received Opera Master Diploma attending postgraduate studies at the Vienna Private University of Music and Art (MUK).
2013: She participated in master class held by Doreen De Feis and James Hooper in Wernigerode, Germany. Working with Doreen and Jammes she received first price and appearance with Wernigerode chamber Orchestra.
2013: Ana was invited from Belgrade Barogue ansamble to participate on master-class of Baroque Academy in Austria, Gmunden. She won ABAAward ‘Concert in Schwetzingen’ for her excellent work and performance throughout the mastercourse with Roberta Mamelli.

2014: Ana is becoming ensemble member of State Theater Coburg in Germany, performing title roles in her first season such as Violetta Valery (La Traviata), Konstanze (Die Entführung aus dem Serail) and Musetta (La Bohème)...
