The French soprano, Cécile Côte, studied drama, modern and baroque cello, and lyric art with Marie-Claire Cottin at the Music School in Hay les Roses, where she was graduated with a Gold Medal.
Soprano soloist or vocalist, Cécile Côte has performed in numerous recitals and musical performances and was one of the singers of the Antic Choir in the film les Sentiments by Noémi Lvosky. She took part of the spectacle My life with Mozart by Eric Emmanuel Schmitt at the Montparnasse Theater in Paris. In 2005, she joined the CCDM Company for the spectacle called Trumpet, Cello and Witch. As a soloist, she recorded two CD's with French conductor and cornett player Jean Tubéry: Carrissimi's Mass (for Cyprès label) and some J.S. Bach's cantatas (for Ricercar). |
