The Argentinean mezzo-soprano, Daniela Lucia Coria, began studying singing at the Liceo Municipal "Antonio Fuentes del Arco" . She continued her studies under Danial Lucia Coria the direction of the Masters Ana Cancelliere and Horacio Amauri Pérez (Buenos Aires). She participated in Festivales Corales and choral direction course, under the direction of Werner Pfaff (organized by the Ars Nova Choir, Santa Fe). She has been a chorister in different groups in Santa Fe: Coro Juvenil del Liceo Municipal de la ciudad de Santa Fe (Director: Marisa Anselmo), Coro Juvenil Voces (Director: Virginia Bono).
In 2000 Daniela Lucia Coria entered the preparatory course of Coro Polifónico Provincial de Santa Fe, under the direction of Sergio Siminovich. In 2006, she was accepted by competition to the choir, in which she participate as a chorister in/ alto section. As a member of ththis choir, she takes part in a lot of a cappella and choral-symphonic concerts, addressing universal repertoire works such as Johannes Brahms' Ein Deutsches Requiem, L.v. Beethoven's Symphony No. 9, G. Verdi's Messa di Requiem, Charles Gounod's Misa Santa Cecilia, A. Dvorak's Stabat Mater, Francis Poulenc's Mass in G major, among others.
Daniela Lucia Coria has appeared as a soloist in various concerts in the province of Santa Fe. Her debut was with "Nelson Mass" by Joseph Haydn, with the Coro de la Universidad Católica de Santa Fe, Coro Polifónico Provincial de Santa Fe and Orquesta Sinfónica Provincial de Santa Fe, conducted by Hector Nardi. Also as a soloist he performed Indianas for mixed choir or vocal quartet, with the Coro Polifónico Provincial de Santa Fe Fe, accompanied by pianists Perla del Curto and Matías Bustafán, conducted by Alejandro Molina, in the cities of Santa Fe, Rosario and Buenos Aires. In 2010 she performed the role of Saul in the oratorio Il David by Alessandro Scarlatti, conducted by Sergio Siminovich, and participation of the Coro Polifónico Provincial de Santa Fe and Camerata Eleuthería. In March 2008 and 2011 she sang the part of alto soloist in Stabat Mater by Giovanni Battista Pergolesi, with the Coro de la Parroquia "Nuestra Señora de la Merced" (Monte Vera, Santa Fe), conducted by Sebastián Noriega and Matías Bustafán. She has also participated in numerous lyric galas, in the provinces of both Santa Fe and Entre Rios.
Daniela Lucia Coria participated in W.A. Mozart's opera Die Zauberflöte , starring in the role of Third Lady in a special adaptation for children organized by the Instituto Coral de la Provincia de Santa Fe, conducted in the cities of Santa Fe and Las Rosas (Santa Fe), conducted by Cristian Gomez. She sang the soprano solo part in the work Lunario Santo, with music by Marcelo Valva and text by José Pedroni at the Teatro Municipal "1 de mayo" in the city of Santa Fe; with the participation of the Coro Polifónico Provincial de Santa Fe and Coro de la Universidad Católica de Santa Fe, conducted by the composer.
In addition to his work as a singer, Daniela Lucia Coria worked as a teacher with Preparadora del Coro Lírico "Maestro Lorenzo Anselmi" of the Asociación Verdiana de Paraná (Entre Ríos). Currently she holds the position of solo alto of the Coro Polifónico Provincial de Santa Fe. |
