The French bass and choral conductor, Noé Chapolard, first studied (since 2010) international relations at StudyWoodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs of Princeton University in New Jersey, USA, before devoting himself fully to music: as a chorister then as assistant conductor at the Choir of the Chapel of his university. He founded the Baroque choir and orchestra Contrapunctus XIV in 2013 and became apprentice conductor with the New York Youth Symphony the same season. He also collaborated with Princeton University's Glee Club, Chamber Choir, and Chapel Choir and the New York Youth Symphony. He graduated from the Princeton University with AB degree in 2014.
Back in France in 2014, Noé Chapolard studied for two years management and choral conducting at the CRR in Paris (2014-2016). Since 2016, he studies choral conducting at CNSMD Lyon, with Nicole Corti and Lionel Sow. He has benefited from the teaching of Gabriel Crouch, Michel Laplénie, Eamonn Dougan and Paul Agnew. He collaborates with the Chœur Colonne, Chœur de Paris, and the Académie du Chœur de l’Orchestre de Paris. He is also a member of Ensemble Via Luce (Directors: Peter Vizard & Agathe Mayeres).
