After some years as a member of the ensemble at Staatstheater Oldenburg in Germany, Lisa Carlioth returned to Sweden again. The first role she sang in Sweden after coming back was Amelia in Folkoperan's adapted version of Un ballo in maschera. Among other roles in Sweden since then can be mentioned Alice Ford in Läckö opera’s production of Falstaff. This season (2017-2018) she returned to Folkoperan for the revival of Philip Glass' opera Satyagraha, in the role Sonja Schlesin. The production about the young Mahatma Gandhi’s time in South Africa, was staged by Tilde Björnfors and guested in New York in 2018.

Lisa Carlioth has a wide oratorio repertoire including traditional works and has also sung La Mort du Nombre by Messiaen at The Barbican in London as well as Monteverdi’s Maria Vespers with Andrew Parrott and the Taverner Consort at the Edinburgh Festival. She has appeared together with Alexander Lazarev and the Royal Scottish National Orchestra (RSNO) and at Linbury Studio at The Royal Opera House in London. Beyond this she has sung Peer Gynt with Jac van Steen and the Nürnberger Symphoniker and also appeared in radio. She currently lives in Bromma, Stockholms Län, Sweden.
