The Colombian soprano, Yalilé Cardona-Alonso, studied singing at the Universidad Javeriana Bogotá - Master's degree with honours. She continued her studies in London (postgraduate Concert Singer) at Royal College of Music, where she won the "Early Music" Prize of the Century Fund. Numerous master-classes with singers such as Alfredo Kraus, Emma Kirkby, Michael Chance, Nigel Rogers, Jennifer Smith, Margit Klaushofer and others completed her training.
Yalilé Cardna-Alonso has already been seen on the opera stage in the roles of Belinda (Dido and Aeneas), Susanne (Le Nozze di Figaro), Helena (A Midsummer Night's Dream) as well as Tina (Flight). |
