The German tenor, Thilo Busch, had studied law, before he began in 1998 his singing studies with with Professor Karl Markus at the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Frankfurt am Main.
Since then Thilo Busch has appeared successfully, both in concert, by the Christmas Oratorios, Histories, and Passions of Heinrich Schütz, J.S. Bach and Camille Saint-Saëns through Schwan in Orff's Carmina Burana, as well as on the operatic stage in roles of Buffofachs, etc. as Basilio in W.A. Mozart's Figaro and Pedrillo in his Entführung, as Bertoldo in Trojahn's Enrico, as Narr in Alban Berg's Wozzeck or as Knusperhexe in Engelbert Humperdinck's Hänsel und Gretel.
Thilo Busch has appeared as a guest at the Opera House of Frankfurt, the Staatstheater Darmstadt and the Pfalzbau Ludwigshafen. In 2005 he was engaged at the Staatstheater Wiesbaden as Missail in Mussorgsky's Boris Godunov and Schmidt in Massenet's Werther at the Oper der Stadt Wuppertal. |
