Sarah Brindley (Mezzo-soprano)

Born: January 29, ____ - Temple, Texas, USA

The American mezzo-soprano, Sarah Brindley, obtaned her Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal performance from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, North Carolina (2001-2005); and her Master of Music in Vocal performance from the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls (2005-2007).

Sarah Brindley arrived in Houston, Texas in 2007. She has been a soloist and core member of the Bach Society Houston (Director: Rick Erickson; since September 2009), and performs frequently in Lone Star Lyric’s summer festival ()since 2008) and Lyric Cabaret series. She has also sung with the Houston Symphony Orchestra and Mercury Orchestra. Some of her most notable roles have been the Wicked Step-Mother in What Your Parent’s Don’t Want You to Know with Lone Star Lyric Festival, the Wife in The Women with Lone Star Lyric Festival, Dorabella in W.A. Mozart's Cosi fan tutte with Opera in the Ozarks, Katisha in The Mikado with Opera in the Ozarks, and Molly Sinclair in The sojourner and Molly Sinclair with the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. She made her debut with Ars Lyrica Hoston in September 2016, singing Marc-Antoine Charpentier's Les Plaisirs de Versailles. In addition, she is Alto Section Leader at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church (since August 2007).

Sarah Brindley was Executive Assistant at HealthSpring, Inc. in Houston, Texas (June 2011-December 2013). She currently works as Executive Assistance at Entrance Software Consulting (since December 2013). She currently lives in · Houston, Texas.
