The English tenor, Archie Bott, graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge, in 2014 with a masters in applied mathematics. As an undergraduate, he sang with the Trinity College Choir of Cambridge (Director: Stephen Layton) for three years as a choral scholar. During this period, he went on tours to the USA, Canada and Germany, as well as recording seven CD's. He is currently studying for a DPhil at Merton College, University of Oxford, in plasma physics (2015-2018).
At present Archie Bott sings with Schola Cantorum of Oxford (Director: James Burton). Other musical experiences include playing the role of Damon in Acis and Galatea, singing solo arias as part of a Hampshire performance of Molière’s Le malade imaginaire, and being Peasant Leader for a Cambridge University Opera Society production of Tchaikovsky's Eugene Onegin. Additionally he has given numerous solo recitals across the UK. |
